The first time I visited Florence was during a Tuscany trip in June. The weather was perfect, the lands were green and I remember so many wow’s when driving around the famous Tuscan hills.
When we first got to Florence, we were delighted by the smell of the linden flowers that diffused all over the city.
The art, the food, the autumn colored trees… that’s what I had in mind when I planned this surprise trip for my fiancé.
It’s like walking into an art museum, like going back to the Renaissance period
We had visited all the best museums previously, so we had 3 full days to explore the less famous streets, have plenty of time for people watching & photographing, and walk around the Boboli Gardens for hours.
One of my fiancé’s childhood friends accompanied us and I was lucky enough to take some shots of them playing, walking, fooling around on that sunny Sunday afternoon.
One of the best things about not running around from a museum to another was that we had 15 minutes to spend, eager to see the black & white photos we took in a classical photo booth. For each photo strip the waiting time was 4.5 minutes and once we saw the first one we had to go back in the very small booth and make weird faces again and again.
